Excellent product
These test strips work well with a small amount of blood, are highly reliable and easy to use.

A brilliant little device
As a scientist I worked with lots of expensive equipment so I am not easily impressed by commonly available personal gadgets. However, in this case I must say that this product is a beauty. I bought it to monitor my blood glucose levels a few times per day and so far has been performing in a consistent manner. It comes with a lancing device, but no strips. It is easy to use, but the amount of blood and the way it is delivered to the microchip on mini-strips is important. I am assuming it was made in Germany, but the strips, sold separately, were made in USA. When buying strips make sure they have a long expiry date.

Does a good job to reduce overheating
Works as it supposed to. The handle is wooden so should not be exposed to direct flame.
