Durable and easy to implement
Since the introduction of their legacy Air Cam, Ubiquiti has made a quality camera. Each generation has improved upon the previous, especially in terms of mounting and aiming their cameras. This model camera is easy to use and has a versatile and durable mounting system. In addition, the software is easy to install, and the camera is quickly available to use.
The night vision is a nice feature, but the documentation does not tell you its range, which is about 20 feet ( 6 meters). The IR Extender accessory is recommended .
The one drawback is that it does not come with a 24 volt PoE injector because of the many switches that have that feature.

Useful to identify cables.
Product gives a clean finish and color coding to each cable assembly. These are easy to use on most CAT 5e and CAT 6 cables, however be careful about using them with the larger CAT6A and CAT 7 shielded cables - they are not intended to fit them.

Difficult to set-up.
0 of 11 found this helpful While the device appears to be of good design, quality and durability, the documentation is outdated and incomplete. Be prepared to contact the help desk. I spent an hour and half just trying to login before setting up the device. It required an Ubiquiti login, and that feature needed to be disabled before I could proceed with device network set-up.
