Secrets from Beyond the Grave is an excellent read!
1 of 1 found this helpful Secrets From Beyond the Grave is an easily read, and yet very comprehensive book that presents the Biblical explanation for what will happen once an individual passes from this earth. The book is very well documented and has extensive foot notes in the back.
There is a section on near death experiences that will thrill your heart if you are properly prepared for the future. That same section will be very sobering to those who are not yet ready. Good news! Perry tells you how you can become ready in only a few moments. Those few moments of preparation will have consequences that will last for ever!
We often spend 40 to 50 years planning for our retirement here on earth. Very few of those retirements ever last much longer than 20 years. This book shows you how to plan for eternity! That is the ultimate retirement!
A million years from today you are still going to exist... the question is where will you be existing? Heaven or hell? This is the ultimate retirement planning book!
Remember... you do not have to violently reject Jesus Christ in order to end up in the place of awful torment. Simply ignoring the issue until you have taken your last breath will destine you for the same place.

To the Jews First!
This commentary is one of the very best I’ve encountered on the Book of Matthew.
The theme throughout is that Jesus came as, “The King of the Jews”, perfectly fulfilled Isaiah’s description of their promised Messiah, yet He was rejected and killed, precisely as Isaiah had foretold He would be.
His second coming to earth will be much different. Instead of coming as a meek and lowly man, He will return as the “Warrior King” who will put an end to global rebellion.
Excellent book!

The "Rest" of the Biblical Story
1 of 1 found this helpful This book is the best companion book to the Holy Bible that I have ever read. The author, Michael S. Heiser, is an "ancient linguistics geek" that teaches from the perspective, that you will not comprehend your Bible if you approach it with the mindset of a 21st century human.
When the Bible was written, there were certain cultural and literary concepts that framed its recording. Just as archaeology digs have given us a more accurate perspective, so linguistic & culture "digs" give us better understanding of our Bible.
We have been living in a window of history since the Day of Pentecost that has shielded us from the visible intrusion of the rebellious Elohim. The ancient writers of the Bible were not shielded. Dr. Heiser reveals the presence and evil influence of "the fallen Elohim", in all of the "weird passages" that we encounter in our scriptures.
There is no way to comprehend the "principalities, powers and rulers of the darkness of this age" that Paul spoke of, and who are the true enemies of the followers of Christ, if we ignore "The Unseen Realm." I absolutely love it!
