Still a question ....

I bought for use in my camper trailer. Got a special 2.4 amp USB power supply for it. I was unable to locate the Brunton charger anywhere. I've tested the mat here at home and am not sure but it doesn't seem to get very warm even on the high setting. Only a few warm spots on the mat can be felt, not the entire mat. Some of the mat still feels cold. I will have to actually try it when camping once the worst of this winter ends. Hopefully it will work better when on the bed and under the blankets.

Seems okay

I bought this unit to use with a Brunton Heating Pad which requires a 2.1 amp power source. It seems to work okay, but I found that it shuts itself off if the device attached to it stops drawing power from it. This is a problem in the usage I was wanting it for since the heating pad has a thermostat that turns the heating pad off and switches itself back on when it cools down. By the time it turns back on, the AllPower power supply has shut itself off because the heating pad has temporarily stopped drawing power. This may be a help in cases where you are using it to charge a cell phone or a tablet, but not if you want to use it in the situation I am wanting it for.

A good idea

This is a really good idea, but the only way I can use it is if I wear it as a headset. When I put it around my neck, the redial button keeps getting activated and I find myself constantly "butt dialing" people. The unit seems to work great and the battery life is very good, but this redial problem makes it a pain to use it unless I put it over the top of my head. I tried putting some gorilla tape over the redial button, but that only helped a little bit. If you can live with this problem, the unit seems to work great.
