Band on the Run archive edition
Even though this was the first of the McCartney archive series to be released (10 years ago), this item was delivered in perfect condition, and is a fantastic album with great bonus features (in spite of McCartney's demo tapes being stolen from him at knifepoint in Nigeria). A bit expensive, but worth it.

The Secret Life of the Veronicas ltd edition set
This is a fun set, for a number of reasons: (a) custom packaging, (b) special small-format Veronicas comic crossing over with the Veronica of Archie Comics fame, (c) a couple of bonus cuts on the Secret Life of... CD that aren't on the standard release, and (d) a DVD with music videos, a "making of" documentary, and a few other behind the scenes looks at the girls in their "dual brunette" period. Not to be missed, especially at the price this set is available on eBay.

Good solid unit from Pioneer Elite
Having used a BDP-05 for a number of years, I was familiar with Pioneer's basic design on this. I appreciate having physical buttons on the -51 (over the haptic touch on the -05), and the transport seems to work well. Presence of the RCA 2-channel audio jacks was the deciding factor for this purchase, as none of the new models from the major manufacturers seem to have them anymore!
