Perfect solution for Dish DVR for Wally
Bought this to add DVR capability to my Dish Wally receiver. It arrived very quickly and works flawlessly! Installed immediately using the Dish installation script - beware of Dish trying to tell you that this may not work. What will get you in trouble is Dish's own internal "back office" which flagged my account (who knows why) to prohibit DVR capability even after I paid them $40 (again, who knows why) to "activate" DVR capability. Took two Dish technicians three hours each before they finally figured out that their own system was to blame. This hard drive works and works very well! It is also 1/3 the price of the Dish-suggested hard drive.
