A feast for the heart and soul
Downton Abbey is a beautiful sketch of human nature, of virtue and vice, and how they reward or bear consequences in the human soul. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll miss it when it's all over. The writing, casting, and cinematography are all developed to perfection in a rare masterpiece that the entire family can watch. It may very well be a once in a generation spectacle.
