Big steel box on tracks!
1 of 1 found this helpful A very well designed kit with a full interior if that appeals to you. Having a full interior does add some construction time, but opportunity for super-detailing the interior for a "cut-away" build. The shape of the finished kit seems to be accurate to period photographs. Since only about a dozen were completed by the end of the war, "accuracy" shouldn't be an issue. All the road wheels and return rollers needed get a bit tedious, but Meng's design is far superior to the older kits. It's not a Tamiya "shake the box" kit, but I'd rate it as a relaxing month-long paint and build project. Fit and finish is very good I'd say, and a 100% out-of-the-box build will make a very fine display. Turned brass cannon barrels and machine guns are available to really make the kit shine as a contest winner.
A fine kit of an unusual subject, and suitable "ugly" for any of us!
