I love this. I'd buy it as gifts for people, and I'd buy another!
1 of 1 found this helpful I am new to this product, so still learning all its features, but I cannot understand one bit why it was discontinued.... the size is perfect, and so slim/elegant; it takes and displays really nice videos, and sound quality is pretty darn good for such a small device, it takes photos, has a radio, pedometer, on and on. I suppose Apple did not want this stealing sales away from the iPod Touch? There are no video or camera features on the latest gen. of the nano, and for me, it's too small to 'deal with'. I find the battery life to be pretty good considering I bought a used one, and took video with it intermittently all day long on a recent mini vacation. Everyone I show this too is really impressed as well... and I am not a cell phone user, (so this is my first 'little device') but they are and still huddle around it when I've pulled it out to show. :)

Can't live without this
I have no idea why they no longer make these. When mine stopped working after almost a decade, I was so happy to find it being sold here. I can't live without it.
