In short, the $79 to $100 US you spend will be worth it.
3 of 3 found this helpful This is a bargain introducing GMT funtionality to those who wish dual time.
I always set the hand to keep UTC time (successor to GMT), and calculate in
my head the offsets to many cities. Works quite well.
I immediately took off the bracelet, and put on a leather band.
Yes, the bezel makes no click noise, but it doesn't slip either. And yes, it
is bidirectional, another plus.
I'm still deciding whether I like the cyclops, but I know how to remove it
if I finally decide against it.
Best of all, it uses the Ronda 515.24H, an excellent movement that can be
interchanged with several other watches I have, and is easy to master
as far as setting the time, the GMT hand, and date.
If you don't like quartz, don't buy the watch. Personally, I find not liking quartz
silly.
A Renata battery rounds out the delight.
