Metal vs. Plastic fasteners.
1 of 2 found this helpful This metal hidden fasteners are perfect for installing composite decking regardless of the brand of decking boards. I have also used the plastic fasteners but prefer the metal ones. Over an extended period I have noticed the plastic ones began to loosen and the deck boards have shifted. This is my own preference. The future looks like more companies are going with the plastic ones. This is why I ordered these fasteners on line.
