Don't buy this product if you expect it to last.
This phone stopped working properly in less than one month. All I get on the screen where the caller ID shows is "Out of Range." There's nothing in the manual that came with the phone to tell me what this means. I'm very disappointed in this Motorola product because I've always considered that name to be among the best.

This is a good starter reference book on parrots.
This is a very informative book on various species of parrot. While it doesn't go into particular aspects of one type of parrot, it does give a beginner or more experienced parrot "parent" some good insight as to what behaviors you can expect. Generally, if you don't have experience with larger parrots, I'd recommend starting out with a cockatiel, lovebird, or parakeet. If you find you like having a bird as a pet, then maybe you can go up a notch to a senegal, caique, or small Amazon parrot. The larger cockatoos, large Amazons, and macaws are pretty to look at but can be very destructive with wood and cord chewing. Besides, they are generally going to get their way and beware of the BEAK. These large birds are capable of inflicting a deep flesh wound that will need stitches and have been known to break a finger or two. This book touches on this fact about the larger birds, and I cannot say it too many times. Way too many birds are bought because the owner thinks they are pretty or they talk well, only to find out that the bird's personality can change drastically once it becomes sexually mature. I can't stress it enough to do your homework before buying a large parrot.
