A Durable Samsung

Cons: The limitations of the Sprint Direct Connect network.
This is a Sprint phone with the capability to access the Nextel network, using the Sprint evdo network instead of the Nextel Iden network, so the Direct Connect coverage is not as good. That said, you can still activate is as a Sprint phone even if you don't have the Sprint high-speed network and even without the Direct Connect this is a very good Sprint phone.

NEXTEL ALIVE AND WELL
4 of 4 found this helpful Good bar phones are getting harder to find but this one is a winner. Pure Nextel through and through. This phone gets great reception and the call quality is as good as it gets. All controls are responsive and the phone has a good solid feel to it. The only down side I could find is the battery life could be a little better, but that can be easily resolved with the extended battery.

Solid Performer
The pros: Good reception, solid build, external display can be seen in bright sunlight. Very good audio quality.
The cons: Battery life is sub-par and the battery cover could fit tighter.
