They don't make Tonka like they used to
They don't make Tonka like they used to, and yet they cost more--but that's the case with most products today. There's a lot more plastic on these than metal nowadays, so they're definitely not as durable or rugged as they used to be. The bucket on the one we received was actually yellow verses the black bucket depicted in the picture and what we expected because it is a little nicer and more authentic looking, so not sure what happened there, but still works great and our grandson really enjoys playing in the sandbox with it.
