Mike Nesmith's Elephant Parts DVD
I have been a Monkees fan since I was a kid and Mike was always my favorite. I have followed his career and accomplishments and remain a fan today. This DVD was bought as a replacement to one I loaned out and was never returned. I am glad to have it back in my household. I enjoy Mike's corny wit and musical ability. He's like a gentler version of Weird Al. He doesn't do direct parodies, but his videos, skits and songs do reflect the stupidity which runs rampant in our society. I think people like Mike Nesmith and Weird Al have figured out what the rest of us need to learn. Don't take yourself too seriously. If you have a sense of humor at all, I think you will find this video and it's counterpart, "The Televsion Parts Home Companion" worth a gander. For a sample glimpse, look up "Elvis Drugs", "Cruisin" (or "Lucy and Ramona and Sunset Sam") and "Life With Rogar" on youtube. Enjoy!

Gemeinhardt Flute review
This flute plays some notes, but needs a complete overhaul. I think once it's gotten new pads and corks, it will be like new. It has a lot of potential. This is a well-known brand, which normally is known for superior quality. I think this particular flute just needs some TLC, then it will be fine.

Works great, but doesn't last
1 of 1 found this helpful It works for a while. In fact, it's great to begin with, for mounting my cellphone for use as hands-free navigation device. Eventually, though, the heat seems to cause deterioration so the bracket falls off the suction cup, and it's not repairable.
