Genuine Whirlpool 285753A OEM Washing Machine Coupling AP3963893 PS1485646

This part saved me a big repair bill, or worse, having to buy a new washing machine

Opted to spend a little more ($9.95) instead of the cheapest one available to get "Genuine WHIRLPOOL OEM" part. Was a tight fit on both the motor and transmission shafts; rather than drive them on with a rubber mallet followed some YouTube advice and filed the interiors just enough to tap them gently into place. So far, so good! Hope to get another 20 years from my washer now.

My Go-To runners

I can run 10 miles in a brand new pair of size 8 Asics Gel-Nimbus without any fit problems whatsoever. These always fit me correctly and are my go-to running shoes.

Works fine but not a perfect fit.

Does not fit easily into the genuine Bodum plastic handle assembly. Had to heat and lube the handle and chill the carafe to get it to insert; even then, it does not seat entirely into the unit, it's about 1/8" from sitting flat on the bottom. Otherwise ok so far.
