'Plug and Play' - but is it?
0 of 1 found this helpful It did what the description said after I plugged in, connected cables to it. It was able to manage services fairly much straight away. It's connected to Telstra supplied NETGEAR broadband modem (which established a 1000mps connection speed). From Ethernet connection point of view, it did what I wanted it to do, manage the exceeded ethernet points.
As a result though, it has significantly disrupted my WIFI speed and stability. This was not an issue before hand and am going through a trial and error diagnostic. There's been some net chatter about common issues, seems to suggest within the Modem settings is the cause.
So - probably tell, I'm not tech guru, but know the basics & am installing ethernet points throughout the house, so also for those who are not tech guru's, it's not just a straight plug and play as has generated faults with my broadband modem now (yet to be resolved).
