Solved my problems.

Bought the Netgear N600 Wireless router to overcome poor WIFI reception throughout our home. We live in a two story house with the gateway router on the first floor. Couldn't get a decent signal on the second floor until we added the Netgear N600. It solved all our problems after a year of putting up with poor signals. Would recommend to anyone having similar issues with their WIFI signal.
