Fourth replacement and still completely unusable, tinted, uneven screen! 4!
0 of 1 found this helpful Im on my fourth u2410 in 2 months of purchase. This monitor was recommended to me and I read some favourable reviews on tinternet. All the monitors that I have received have been completely unusuable for photo editing. Various issues with the quality of the screen, blue to yellow variations, pink / green tinting, luminance uneveness, just generally all over the place.
Dell use the same screens as the Eizo cg243 and NEC spectraview 241, these are high high quality monitors and their prices (£1000+) reflect this. Clearly the quality control procedures at dell are lacking.
As they market this monitor as having perfect picture quality and a 96% adobergb gamut then its meant for semi-pro use, but at the quality i've experienced it's not good for even web browsing.
This review may seem a tad extreme but after viewing four models this is the result.
