Dishwasher inlet tube

The socket washers had disintegrated on my old inlet pipe so it wasn't making a good water seal when the top crockery tray was pushed back. After removing the top tray, replacing the pipe was easy enough, although a little awkward trying to get to the back of the dishwasher with the door in the way. Top tip – make sure you clean out the spinning water jet arms thoroughly! Bits of plastic from the broken-down washers get stuck inside and block the openings, stopping the arms from spinning properly. It is a bit fiddly, but with a bit of shaking, rinsing and some poking with pins, you should be able to get them all out. So all in all, worth doing, it washes properly now.

Replacement Henderson 7' garage door springs

After replacing both sets of springs (3 springs on each side), it was like having a new garage door! I only had to fit them half way along the fixing bracket, so there is still room for future adjustment. It's surprising how heavy the door was beforehand, you just get used to it after a while. I thought they were a bit dear, for what they are, but now think its worth it.
