339392 Dryer Lint Screen Filter for Whirlpool & Kenmore DE522 PS345247 337133
13 December 2015
JUNK
This lint screen is very low quality and most likely could not be made any cheaper. It is too flexible and too easily bent out of shape compared to the original. The screen already has a couple small holes along the edge from flexing. I disassembled the dryer and removed the screen chute to assure everything was OK. I also found the screen was about an inch shorter and left a large gap at the bottom allowing lint to blow into the exhaust fan and duct. The gas dryer is an older model and works great. The screen just fell apart. I would not recommend buying this screen. Spend a little more and hopefully you will get better quality. No matter where you buy one, be sure to check very carefully against the older one for width and length before inserting.
New Replacement Dryer Drum Felt Seal 239087
07 December 2016
Great fit
The felt seal fit perfectly and came with the cement. Can be an easy install for the mechanically inclined. Does take a little work. The drum must be removed and the old seal removed. You may have to sand around the edge of the drum to remove and smooth out the old cement. Take a small section at a time, maybe 12 inches at a time, apply cement and press felt into place. It's not a quick job. Not a hard job, just takes time. The seal is a tight fit around the drum and may have to be stretched a little at the end. Well worth the price and the effort to restore the back seal at a reasonable price and can be done yourself. May be a good idea to replace the drum rollers, belt, and tension roller, since the drum is out anyway. I sprayed the rear cabinet where the seal rides with a little silicone spray to insure a smooth easy glide for my new seal. I highly recommend this producet by ERP. Exact Replacement Product.
