Good value but not a serious filleting knife

Nicely shaped knife and handle and good value at the price. Not really a serious filleting knife though, the thickness of the blade does not feather out to the tip and the line cutting notch creates a weak spot, consequently causing the knife to flex only up near the handle, also any heavy scaling duties will leave the knife bent at the notch requiring you to constantly flip your fish and scale with the other side of knife to bend it back . If you only want it as a fishing knife and filleting small fish it would be fine and represents good value for that.

Does a good job , as advertised

Great addition to my 4x4 survival kit . Fast, powerful, light and small enough to fit behind the back seat of my Hilux. Seems well made and tough and capable of much higher pressure than I normally use ( tested 👍). Time will tell but so far I am impressed.

Name brand quality but much less expensive AAA

Really good quality and great to use, performs all the advertised tasks with ease. I love these pliers and together with the lanyard and pouch they have stayed on my hip for every fishing outing proving to be particularly good for cutting any type or size of line, wrangling small hooks from baitfish and flicking the odd spiney fish back into the water without risking injury or dirtying your hands . They are aesthetically pleasing and spring loaded , light , strong and well made,great value and a top quality item .
