Lots of power, lots of features, easy to use with my Canon camera.
1 of 1 found this helpful I recently bought a used 580EX Speedlite (flash) for my older Canon camera. It was to replace the less sophisticated Canon flash that I had used. My old flash stopped working.
My used flash was reasonably priced. It looks and works like it is new.
This new flash has a lot of light output. The LCD display on the flash tells you the range of the flash with the settings (and background lighting?) used. It is significantly more powerful than my old flash. There are a lot of little features on this that I have not played with. I have not yet read the manual. The basic features were pretty intuitive, for me.
The manual was readily available at the Canon website for a free download.
