The title tells you without any "ifs" or "buts" exactly what it is that you're getting.

I rate the product "ripper" because:- 1. The original tracks have been remastered and now have far greater clarity of sound than ever before. 2. The albums in this extensive collection, in their day, were generally listened to in mono so the listening experience now is just as it was in that era. 3. The fifteenth CD in the collection contains material from the Stones first EP in the UK - very reflective of their early R & B days- that I have always been fond of but never been able to obtain in recent years.

Because except for the late 1962 until end of 1963 it encapsulates the peak years and highlights of Gerry and the Pacemakers peak popularity period. The BBC radio recordings on the CD are great for comparison to the official EMI recordings and also demonstrate what a great live band Gerry and the Pacemakers were at that time, largely comparable to the Beatles (in my humble opinion ).
