Wiha Maxxtor PZ2 (POZI 2) - Pack of 5 - 49mm Long Impact Driver Screw Bit 36832

Excellent tough bit

PZ2 bit for use with impact drivers, drills or even hand-held manual drivers. Excellent fit onto PZ2 screws. 1/4" hex standard shaft with groove to suit auto retention - very quick & easy to change bits. If it's anything like my last Wiha impact bit, it should last me a long time. Having bought 5, it means I can afford to change the bit sooner to maintain excellent fit onto the screws. If you haven't already got an impact driver, get one! They are brilliant for powerful driving. The red collar makes it a bit (pun intended!) easier to find it amongst others.

Excellent area coverage bulbs

As expected these minisun GU10 bulbs are very good. These are not "spot" lights as there is a diffuser covering the LEDs which creates a softer light with a wide illumination area. The 3000K colour temperature is similar to a halogen bulb and I think provides the best compromise for indoor lighting.

Excellent, but could be unreliable.

Works as expected. "Pairing" is very simple - requires a long press of the relevant On button. Range was no problem in our large sitting room, even when well hidden behind furniture. I bought the identical looking product (with three switches rather than five) about three years ago and they all died over a 4 month period recently - the fault was an intermittent switch off within 1/2 an hour or so rendering the devices useless. I assume there was a "lifed" component in the device. I hope this is not true for this suppliers' switches. I've opened up one of the faulty devices and could not spot any heat damage or other signs of imperfection, so the failures remain a mystery.
