Angela shows us just how dangerous the imagination can be, through the eyes of a child, with no boundaries or limits
I absolutely adored this movie and related it to my own existence in so many ways. Through the eyes of an innocent yet broken child we see just how dangerous the world between reality and fantasy can be, without boundaries or guidance. These low budget independent movies are willing to push the limits of creativity, controversy and art to make a statement that touches every fiber of your being and Angela does it so exquisitely and flawlessly. These young actresses were beyond there years. Hollywood movies are often so cliche and rigid full of technology that over rides the story. Angela makes a statement and touches your heart in every way. If you are willing to have an open mind and accept this cinematic work of art that may be controversial, than this movie is for you. Not being afraid to push the push the limits of true cinematography are the makings of some of the great movies of all time. As we watch this movie and step into the eyes and mind of Angela we are watching a great work of art that deserves so much more recognition than it is given.

Gifted: A wonderful heart filled drama
0 of 1 found this helpful Gifted was a beautiful, inspiring and emotional picture based on the life of a child prodigy. It brought tears and joy both to my eyes, yet at the same time I feel the movie drifted from a story about a gifted and intelligent 7 year old child into the whole custody battle over her life and somewhere in between the movie losing its identity it confused me a bit. Was this a movie about the laughter, joy and tears of the gift this little girl was blessed with or was it about a custody battle over a child's life. Wonderful attempt but the story line drifted and lost me at times. Overall a wonderful movie and Mckenna Grace plays the part of the child prodigy flawlessly and with more heart and wisdom than I've ever seen in a child actor. so talented and so ahead of her years. I do recommend this movie.
