Return of The King Limited Edition DVD
I would have to say that Return of The King is my favorite of the trilogy, closely followed by the first one. The acting, special effects, and sheer scope of this movie is incredible. I'm still amazed by it years later. I reccomend these movies even for those who aren't normally into sci fi/fantasy because there's lots of great action, and lots of real emotions, which a great deal of sci fi/fantasy special effects extravaganzas lack. The backdrop of New Zealand is simply stunning, especially in the scene called the Lighting of The Beacons.
There's multiple DVD versions of the trilogy available. But I would most reccomend this one for those who would like to own both the theatrical release and the extended version, but don't want a ton of extras, and to take up a lot of room on the shelf with multiple copies of the movies. I'm a big fan of the movies, and I own the 4 disc extended version box set for fellowship of the Ring, as well as the theatrical releases of The Fellowship of The Ring and The Two Towers. The Limited Edition 2 disc sets of the trilogy were handy to me, because then I could just buy one set and have both versions.
It doesn't have all the cool extras that the extended 4 disc box sets have. But if all you want is the movies, then I reccomend the limited edition 2 disc sets. Be aware though that they are difficult to find now, and can be expensive. It's rare to find any of the three limited edition 2 disc sets available for less than 25.00 brand new. If you find them brand new for less than that, grab them, because it's a big bargain!

Excellent Lens
2 of 2 found this helpful This has a better build than Canon's 50mm f/1.8 and a sharper image. Don't get me wrong. The 50mm is a great lens but I found the 40mm to be more versatile. If you want a lens that has a faster auto focus and better build but still will create a nice bokeh effect then you may want to try this lens. It works great with video as well.
