This Title has an Identity Crisis
0 of 1 found this helpful Godzilla and other Movie Monsters delivers what it claims and much, much more. In fact, that's the problem with the feature, there is far too much unnecessary information included.
The feature starts off well enough with a short review of Godzilla's fifty-year reign of terror. At that point, however, it suddenly decides it wants to become a documentary, presenting an overly long and frankly boring lesson on the roots of herpetology, dinosaurs in general and mythological dragons in particular.
Upon escaping from the classroom, the feature again becomes both entertaining and informative as it reviews classic monster movies from Japan, England and the United States.
Fortunately, this is a DVD and you can skip past most of the 'educational' footage. Even then, it's not a particularly great production, but there are enough memories and teasers to make the production well worth its bargain basement price. Besides, where else can you get the classic parody "Bambi Meets Godzilla" on DVD?

First of the Super Dreadnoughts. Adult replica, not a toy. Not for the kiddees.
Good looking replica of an intimidating warship. Masts aren't the sturdiest, but they'll do. This is not a toy. Too many small parts to be safe around toddlers and pre-teens.
