Older macro lens.

Image quality is what you would expect from a macro lens, with f/2.8 range. The lens hood mounts on the front screw mounting, the same as the lens filter. For this model, later versions the lens hood is a slip on click version which is quicker and easier to use. Range adjustment is limited to one movement, on the earlier lens, later lens has adjustment and focus, two separate adjustments. Performance wise it does what it is designed to do. Allowing you to collect images at the finer end of the lens scale. As with all lens, price often reflects ability. This being an older lens, price, condition, is adjusted to effect sales.

Adjustable speed control. Handle allows multi position of hand position. Reasonably lightweight, makes operating the polisher for long periods, comfortable. Does not twist when on switch is used, as some more powerful machines can do. Only drawback is quality of polishing pad. That said, price for product is fair.
