Good Saw - VERY POOR BATTERY

I have a number of petrol chain saws but thought I would try an electric one. But: The battery failed after just 15 months or so. I thought it was the motor that failed, but has it is a very convenient 'quiet' saw I bought another. Now I find that it was the battery that failed - the new battery drives the old saw - - - BUT FOR HOW LONG? The saw itself is great, but the battery may be the very expensive weak part.

Power Failure Both Units

Hand held Oricom UHF2190 (one unit - now two units) simply will not work. I brought this radio as a two-pack unit. One unit had/has battery and or power problems. Replacing or recharging batteries achieves nothing Latest thing when fresh batteries are inserted a blank screen lights up. In this situation the unit will not switch on or off. I have to take the batteries out to stop the lit up screen. The second unit ~ appeared to work for a while, but today this unit has also failed - intermittant power failure I bought these units hoping for a better run than my two Unidens – one Uniden failed completely stating Busy Busy, on the other Uniden the antenna broke – still works - but the exposed wire may cause burning. Both Oricom and Uniden appear to be poor quality and or unreliable.
