Garmin GPSMAP 60 CSx
22 of 23 found this helpful I wanted to buy a GPS but, wasn't sure what I wanted. I chose this unit for the flexibility of use it has. It was purchased to use deer hunting public ground I wasn't familiar with in Illinois. However, with Garmin's City Navigator software this unit is just as functional in the car. The only drawback so far has been the included software in the unit itself. You only get a basic map of the USA with just main roads and practically no Topographical details. You have to purchase additional mapping software such as Garmin City Navigator or Topo to get any detail in the GPS. The cost of additional software was not anticipated and turned into another $200.00 expense for both. Not to mention more for accessories such as a dash mount and a power cable (not included). The unit has a removable 64 mb micro SD card that can be increased up to a 2Gb card for unbelievable information storage. Definitely plenty of memory, but again more money to spend if you want to...Also, this isn't just plug and play technology, it requires some self education and practice using it to adequately get the most out of its capabilities. The rewards are worth the effort though, as the unit has advantages for both trail or street use. Just be prepared to spend some additional money to program the unit for whatever use you have in mind...Good Luck, I hope this review helped you in some way...

They're not perfect on alignment but, with a little finesse they worked ok. Cheaper than OEM. We'll see how they weather...
