More soul from the Motor City.
It's a very good Detroit label during the competitive nearly twenty of Detroit soul music. Of course, Motown was a Goliath. However, there was so much talent in the Motor City, it was necessary to have a half dozen labels to record these artists. Thelma Records was just one of several. These songs were interesting, but to my knowledge did this label had a major hit? Producer Don Davis (also on many songs), he would have several hits on his Grooveville label, and would later strike Gold with Johnny Taylor and Billy Davis & Marilyn McCoo.

Unknown singer on Motown, which may be interesting to hear.
I was disappointed that this CD was not in stereo. Especially from Motown's late sixties. Her producer just went through the Jobete Publishing catalog, by updating older songs into 1968-69 production standards. A couple of songs, Barbara Randolph made me think of Brenda Holloway. But overall, I think it is Okay.

Fifty years find
I had this LP in mono for nearly fifty years. E-Bay is the first time I could find this album in stereo.
