New battery did not fix my dead phone so problem was obviously something else.
Battery itself probably quite good. Tool to open phone casing not sufficiently robust.
Quite difficult to safely open phone casing to remove dead battery and install new battery.
This is of course no fault of the new purchased battery. The battery itself is quite pliable as was the old one and that was a bit of a concern as one felt it very necessary to handle it with kid gloves so to speak.
