Know your onions?
I like these powdered onions, because not only can I make an almost instant gravy, I can make a really tasty gravy. I use a teaspoon or two, ( depending on how much gravy I want to make.) of powdered onions with finely ground herbs, add my meat juices from whatever meats I happen to be cooking, add some boiling water, then make my gravy as usual. No faff or fuss. With the roasted onion flavour from the onion powder, it gives a really rich flavour without waiting ages to boil or roast your onions. If like me you grill meats and like a bit of gravy as a quick extra, and in a hurry. Then with this product you really will know your onions!

Saves little fingers, and allows roaming!
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought these before, about eight or nine years ago, to save grandchildren's little fingers. Now they have a duel purpose, save little fingers AND allow the cat to ( paw ) open the door, to roam from room to room. No more plaintive requests to open door so she can get to the...... ahem!........ utility room! The only reason I need to replace them now is, they can't ( eventually ) withstand the people who forget they are there, and try ( really hard ) to close the door. Otherwise, I wouldn't be writing this review, as, I wouldn't need to!

Brilliant quality saucepans
Brilliant product, long lasting, unfortunately my other half used a Bakelite spoon which damaged the large saucepan in the set, otherwise it would be years yet before I would have needed to replace any the other two are in pristine condition after four years. I would suggest however, that only wooden or silicone spatulas be used, and a purchaser will get full advantage of the saucepans great quality, and years of service.
