The High Line has become one of the most famous gardens in the world. It features native American plants arranged in a compelling sequence of year-round appeal. The book is the next best thing to being there, and explains much of the concept.

For anyone interested in American azaleas, this book is a necessity. The only book that completely explores the subject. Although new azaleas have been discovered since publication, this is simply the very best starting point for learning about the most beautiful group of flowering shrubs on the north American continent.
