Eclectic collector or marginal hoarder - who decides? Some of my collections need to be thinned down as we transition into retirement. My angst is your gain - I ll include the backstory when I can, but know that these all were enjoyed!

Simple print photo scanning without the muss and fuss - Brookstone!
I bought this scanner to convert boxes of print photos, mostly of our kids when they were much younger (when we were ALL much younger!). I was looking for something easy to use, and that did a good job of scanning without a lot of muss and fuss. My Brookstone iConvert Photo Scanner fills the bill.
I have the smaller of the two models - it won't handle larger prints, but the ones it does handle turn out great. It took a few test scans to get the hang of feeding the prints in so they'd scan right, but once I did that, it's just been a matter of setting aside time to scan.
I use the memory card to transfer images from the scanner to my computer - I had a couple cards from various digital cameras that worked just fine.
