Affordable solution

This tent pole replacement kit is simple to use. I just cut the new pole section to length with a junior hacksaw and used the threading tool provided to pull the elastic from the end of the original string of pole sections to grab hold of the knot and untie - I was worried the knot might be tricky to undo but it was fine. Then remove the broken pole section and using the threading tool again thread on the new pole and any others that had to be taken off, then retire the knot. The tent has since been used and is fine. I cut the other spare pole sections to the right length to make it easier if I have to replace another one.
