Cheap zoom lens
It's a cheap zoom lens with a variable aperture, which creates an extra challenge for the beginner learning manual. The plastic covering is cheap, it has a plastic lens mount and it overall just feels cheap in hand.
Its a great beginner kit lens but i personally think the money is better spent on a prime lens that can produce quality sharp images.
