Haynes Repair Manual, 05-14 Jeep Grand Cherokee: OK, but...
The manual on Jeep "WK" and "WK2" models covers a a lot of territory: a 10 year production span, 6 engine types (does not cover 3.0 l diesel), several transmission types and 2/4-wheel drive trains, any number of electrical and trim options, etc. It covers all this in about 300 pages, a number of which are spent on general information such as generic body work advice, routine tools, spark plug condition chart, etc. This is approximately 50% the size of their manual for the previous ZJ Grand Cherokee model ('93-98).
Admittedly, new cars are increasingly complex and truly thorough manuals would be beyond the scope and cost expectation of many DIY readers. It is what it is- a good introduction and detailed enough for some repairs and maintenance tasks. The bottom line is that it appears spotty in some coverage and is no substitute for actual shop manuals or even careful searches on owner forums. Overall, it is a step beyond the OEM owner booklet and only time will tell how well the manual coverage compromises fit your particular needs.
Final hint to manual authors/ editors: at least mention the tire pressure monitoring systems somewhere in the well-worn tire maintenance advice.

Arko Shaving Soap is a Classic.
2 of 2 found this helpful Arko easily makes a slick cushion of shaving lather. You don't need to be a magician with a fancy shaving brush and perfect water balance. The strong citronella smell is polarizing, but I like it fine. If it is a bit too much for you, leave the container open for a few days and it tones down. This is an old school soap that has been getting the job done on tough Turkish beards for decades. So, it is a classic for a reason and should be part of your rotation in search of wet shaving perfection.

Triangle Cubic Boron Nitride Rods for Spyderco Sharpmaker
1 of 1 found this helpful The sharpening rods are aggressive with just light, uniform pressure at a a pace of 45 smooth strokes per minute on a medium sized blade. They can handle re-profiling of an abused knife edge quickly to save time in getting back to a usable edge. Time will tell if they hold up well, but they work well and seem to have a denser and more uniform grit coverage. There is no excuse for have dull knives or tools around the shop or home. Good job, Spyderco.
