An enjoyable read and good value for money when purchased on ebay
A very interesting book but quite repetitive at times. I thought that there might have been more personal letters between the Quen Mother and her family. Major events were either glossed over or not mentioned at all in the letters. I think the writer may have been too selective in his choice of letters or else holding them back for a another more focused book perhaps on the abdication etc. But all in all an interesting read and well worth having but definately not at the original published price!
