The Good & the Bad
First, I love the Df. It will shoot virtually any lens Nikon has ever made with a few exceptions. I collect Nikon so I can pop a 1960 lens on it and shoot! It has the sensor used on the D5 so the photos are amazing. The retro look is great too. Older Nikkors look great on it. That being said, it is not a particularly convenient camera to use. It only uses 1 sd card (no xqd), you can't double tap and zoom it on the LCD screen and you have to go into the menu a lot more than on most Nikon dslrs to make simple changes usually located on the outside of the body. And no video. Plus it's a 16 megapixel camera (which is plenty). But the images really pop. I have 40 inch prints that are razor sharp. I put the image quality above the D500 or the D850 unless you plan to make a billboard. Great camera but a bit of a hassle to use.

Awesome 1:1 Macro and a Great Deal
The only thing this great lens lacks is the fast focus of AF-S. But since most macro work is manual focus, it's not a big deal for most people. Optically a 5 for sure but some are hooke on AF so I gave it a 4 star but it's really a 5.
