For snapshots it is the best. That is what I bought it for and am happy,

It is simple to shoot a shot and the storage with a card is great. Did not come with any instructions but downloaded same (196 pages) and learned that it can do most anything if you want to use all of the features. Just point and shoot and the flash is so easy to use. Found I did not need the flash a lot of the time. A fine camera that you would expect to pay much more for with all of the features it has.
