As Good and Easy As Advertised

I have used this device for about a month now and I am very pleased. Out of the box all I had to do was pop in the batteries, decide whether I wanted the lens with slope or the one without, and go. It locks the distance quickly. Playing along side my friends with rangefinders without slope, I have learned that sometimes it makes subtle a difference between going up or down a club. The fact that it has 6x magnification helps me get a clear view of the green I'm approaching, which helps especially if I am at a course I have not played before. Personally I would not miss the JOLT technology if it was gone, but I can see the appeal of having confidence you have locked in the distance to the flag as opposed to the tree behind it. I tend to go for the high-end rangefinders because I find they last longer. This one is built pretty sturdy, and I feel it will last at least as long as the one I replaced (over 10 years). My old Bushnell did stop working the glue lost its stickiness. Therefore I don't leave this one in the sun very long, and use the case it comes in to provide protection. I love everything about this rangefinder. It is much smaller, more ergonomic and versatile than my old rangefinder.
