One Addition Added For Crossbows
1 of 4 found this helpful I added one addition to this Texas Shooting Stick, a Y shaped insert, and another tie down for it after inserting it, to just set my crossbows on the shooting stick for hunting, target practice, etc. Also can be used with guns, and would suggest the manufacturers add that one device and this is an excellent tool for everything a hunter needs to keep steady aim.
I survived a dual kidney/pancreas transplant, and anti-rejection meds make me shake some times, sot this stick helps me tremendously stay accurate and on target, yet it folds up, and can be slipped into a back pocket, etc. and carried to any place with you with out bulky equipment for hiking into areas and reducing weight, and bulk for miles of hiking. So for me, this device is perfect, this Texas Shooting Stick for those that walk for miles to hunt, and even good if you don't hunt and carry a weapon in case of predators, etc., to have steady aim for anything you may need to be sure to hit the first time if outdoors in areas it is wise to be armed.
Highly pleased with this, and can use it on everything I own from compound bows, recurve bows, my crossbows, and rifles, so a good choice for the simple weight issues of carrying bulky items to reduce weight for long multi-mile hikes.

Most Excellent
1 of 1 found this helpful I love this bag, added a thermos, have the camera addition bag for it, with easy attachment points, plus many other attachment points for more gear. Is designed in such a way I can attach a rifle or bow to this with the points additions even though not specifically designed for carrying a rifle or bow and have rigged so many different ways to carry items with this since I got it, just amazed at how versatile it is. I ride a motorcycle as well and really like how many connections for securing all the gear on it is as well so it does not come off your back or body with all the attachment points. As well, if connected correctly, it will not easily slide off your shoulders at all and fits snug and very comfortable with the padding. It doesn't get rained in with liners that are water proof, dries out well, and very pleased with this back pack, and highly recommend the Alpine OutdoorZ Big Bear packs for those that need a good backpack with plenty of ways it can be utilized for any kind of need besides long hikes, great for long motorcycle rides for me to places I want to hike, and very secure when wearing riding, and padding is amazingly comfortable. Also can be adjusted for a very large person to a small frame person like myself with no problems. Major thing I love is the versatile nature of changing out how to apply what is provided for specific uses, amazing and love this backpack. :–)

They are the BEST BOLTS in the WORLD
First shot went through my target bag and made me nervous, zeroed in my crossbow, using a 3 - 9x 50E tactical scope, and from fifty yards out can hit my deer target in the heart and lay the Victory Armor Piercing Voodoo Bolts right on top of each other just about. Watching them fly through the scope, my mental projection when I fire my crossbow I seem to see them fly in slow motion, and observed the spin of the bolts, with the vanes designed to produce a rifled spin in flight I witness, and then when they hit the target dust flies out of my bag, so amazing to watch these bolts fly. The speed comparision I have shooting my Victory X Bolts that are carbon and traditional half moon nocks compared to the VAP Voodoo bolts is significant. My Victory X Bolts fly at 175 Miles Per Hour, and off the same cross bow, shooting the VAP Voodoo Bolts my speed has increased to 225 Miles Per Hour when they impact with my Hurricane Target Bag. I'm extremely pleased with these Bolts, and will use these for hunting, and have tested them from 100 Yards and they are very accurate, and they do not go off course in windy conditions like the traditional Victory X Bolts, so extremely happy with how these VAP Voodoo Bolts perform in flight. The most important aspect for hunting, accurate shooting, these make shooting a crossbow extremely accurate.
