Not a "porcelain doll" Mozart...
Here you have, recorded in superb direct stream digital sound, a highly artistic account of all the Mozart piano sonatas such as only a great artist could give. It's a transcendent account, with excellent ornamentation and phrasing that others don't always achieve. One of the great ones...

Golden performance of a musical work from the dawn of Art Nouveau
MTT's Mahler 1st is a fine assay of this, the most unique symphony since Hector Berlioz' Symphonie Fantastique. SACDs give me the realism I crave. The long, flowing lines and clear, sinuous textures hint of what was to come in the Art Nouveau movement. The symphony is a marvellous document of this fragile and short lived time. Michael Tilson Thomas' performance is lively and virtuostic in the best sense. The recording is a clear window into his work.
