It does the job I acquired it for.

I bought this camera to get high resolution images for a commercial giclee web site. My point and shoot's were inadequate for this for large (30x40 inch) paintings. A frien had this model so I knew it would be sufficient. I've had high end SLR's in the past and the complexities of this camera are not overwhelming, but I don't need them for most of my current uses. I do look forward to learning about the camera's features, especially with photoshop in mind.

Simple but practical

The case fits and does the job. The little stand might be useful, but I taped it in place as it usually popped out when not needed.

Refurbished MX922 was old and no good

This was refurbished but it was old and had several defects. I wanted one to replace my MX922, but thhis one was not good.
