Olympus E-1 E1 E-systems DSLR

I own an Olympus E-500 DSLR, and after much research decided to purchase an E-1 "pro" DSLR as a backup body. PROS: - extremely rugged body - logical control layout, easy to handle - full compatibililty with current equipment - tethered PC control feature not available with the E-500 CONS: - smaller LCD viewscreen - image data writes s-l-o-w-l-y to the CF card - no histogram on image review (mut press extra button to see histogram) - relatively low 5MB image size After initial tests, the camera is working well. The body/lens weight is extremely well balanced, and it just feels "right" in my hands. Color rendition is very accurate, with pleasant sky blues. As expected, high ISO settings create tons of noise. Just avoid anything above ISO 400, or covert it to monotone, and images will look great. Autofocus and "C-AF" tracking seems to work faster with the optional battery grip. Even though it is several years "old", this pro body is hard to put down.
