When does the story start?
Boring. There’s a difference, in my opinion, between a story and a novel. A story format is - this happened, then this happened, then this happened. A novel format is - introduce then develop characters, have a main plot and a few subplots, develop everything along the way, then tie them all together.
I waited for something - anything - to develop in this book. Nope, nada, nothing.
