Fun for the whole family......
I have been looking for a DVD of this movie for years, still have the VHS tape! Now I see it was released quite awhile ago. I purchased the older version just in case the newer DVDs had less content because Disney tends to creatively edit new versions of a movie that may have older "acceptable for the time" content that some viewers would find politically incorrect these days. For instance the animated feature "The Incredibles" released just a few years ago....the original theatrical release included scenes with the fathers character being fitted for his new costume and being loaded into a tube for transportation to his assignment that were hilarious, falling out of your chair funny, but when I bought the DVD a few months later after the movie had been released, I was VERY DISAPPOINTED those scenes had been removed!!! I guess somebody at Disney thought they were in bad taste for whatever reason and they are no longer available for home viewing, anywhere. What a shame. Some of the best bits removed because someone didn't like a "fat person joke". I happen to be fat and thought those scenes great. So, I'm glad to say this DVD for The Cat Who Came Outer Space has NOT been edited by the "sensitivity police". To modern eyes, the technology is a little "dated" looking but it's such a fun ride, you won't care. Get it, share with the kids, love it, as much as I always have since my childhood!!!

Love the auto-daylight savings feature, don't have to change the time!
I have owned one before....now I have two working clocks. I thought my old one died, but it had just a hickup with a power outage....so it's fine now.

If you are a fan of old Star Trek, this is for you!
This pattern is not for beginners...since you first have to cut out all the pieces from standard copy paper, takes time and effort, BUT, the effort will be worth it! I've constructed a similar pattern in the past copied directly from screen used costumes back in the 70's made out of newspaper!...so I know what this costume construction is like...TAKE YOUR TIME, READ INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE YOU START. Get appropriate fabrics for finished product, don't skip doing a "mock-up" first, as this is a very tricky design, and you should do fittings first before cutting final fabrics...or at the very least buy far more fabric than you need so you can make a "screw-up" version first! You will thank me for this advice! Trust me.
