Foul Play, Not foul to me.
This was a fun light hearted book. Definitely, not up to the standards of the Stephanie Plum Mysteries. Still, a fun read to make you feel better about romance! Two great protaginists and a little wacky sidebar mystery to keep them busy and from living happily ever after right away. Janet Evanovich definitely has her full market share of wacky! Funny, in her pictures she always looks fairly normal. Just Goes to show, You can't judge a book by its cover, and I'm glad I read "Foul Play". This book Rates About a six on my personal scale of 1-10.

Dark Watcher-Lighter Fare For Saintcrow Fans
I'm always looking for new Lilith Saintcrow novels. By new, I mean new to me. I became a fan when I first read the Dante Valentine series and then the Jill Kismet series. Now I'm constantly searching for her books. So of course, when I found the 1st book of a New series, I hadn't read yet, for a reasonable price, I grabbed it! I was not disappointed! While the Valentine & Kismet Books Heroines are of the very strong and warrior type of female. The Watcher Series have a totally different type of heroine which are softer and more feminine seeming but still strong in a much different way, in the ways of witchcraft or as the book phrases it as a "lightbringer".This book also had more of a romantic tone than the other books and while there was violence on the part of the hero and the dark forces at work against the protagonists, the violence wasn't nearly as descriptive or dark as in the Valentine and Kismet books. The book was excellent but in a different sort of tone and type of writing style than the ones I've previously read.Saintcrow really did a change up on us for this series and managed to make it very interesting and enjoyable read. Thanks Again Ms. Saintcrow I shall be looking for the next book in the series!

The Quiet Man
This is quite simply John Wayne's best film and best work! It is unlike any of his other movies in that he is not trying to be a rough and tough, take no prisoners type of man. He has seen what that can do and how it can destroy. He is trying to recover and live a quiet life, in rural Ireland. It is also a Love story in which Maureen O'Hara of course plays a huge part, and does it well. Once again becoming his best leading lady by far. This movie shows the struggle of a man coming to terms with his past, and trying to build a better future and realizing that becoming a man of peace, doesn't always mean turning the other cheek and letting others take advantage of you. or insult you! Maureen O'Hara plays a wonderful Irish spitfire who makes him realize that there are things in life that you have still have to fight for even when fighting seems like a step backward in your life. Fighting for the right things, in the right way, is always a step forward. This is an outstanding movie for any era. I recommend it Highly and give it 5+ stars on a 5 star rating system. This is a Movie that should be in everyone's Classic Movie Collection! Thank-you-Pawvalleyoutpost
